Of the photos that I captured for this assignment, I believe that this is my most successful image. I think this is the most successful one because of the simplicity of it. Sometimes, simple can be entirely too boring for people. However, I think the fact that it is so simple is what brings beauty and meaning to it, depending on how the audience views it. For example, the figures in the photo are black with no faces and the only thing that the viewer can go off of is the positioning of their bodies. I find beauty in things that are interpreted differently depending on who is looking at it. I also like the fact that I turned it into a black and white photo as it adds more simplicity to it, along with the white background, while still being beautiful.
The most challenging aspect of this assignment was finding the theoretical image. I wanted to use a photo with color, while also using a photo with some sort of illusion. It was not easy finding exactly what I wanted since I was so particular about it. I also feel that the photo for that category took a lot more thought than the other categories because I wanted it to have a deeper meaning than just what the audience was seeing. In the future to create stronger images, I would like to take more thoughtful photos. It sounds cliche, but I know that if I were to take a lot more time on what I want to do for each category and really go into deep thought about the photos, I would take much better photos. I could even write down some of my plans and try my best to make it come to life with my camera.

Hi Julia!
This photo is so good and it truly encapsulates sequence photography that was mentioned in the lecture. This is a great example of an explanatory photograph as it is showing the audience that the coin is in motion. It is so creative that you went about the sequential approach and took time to do so. The effort that you put into this truly shows. I also like that you gave it a black and white look; it fits the type of photo very well. This is one of the most creative photos I've come across in this course and it made me feel like I was present in watching the coin in motion. I have no suggestions for you other than to continue being so creative! Great photo!
